Nail Polish Thoughts

One thing that I occasionally, and by occasionally I mean once every 5 months.... if that, do is paint my nails. A few days ago I felt the urge to do so and while I was deciding what to paint, a couple of thoughts came into my head. They were thoughts of how much of a hassle it is to paint nails, and how I will probably mess up my nails. And as I was deciding between painting my toe nails or finger nails, I was thinking of the probability of me screwing up painting my finger nails compared to toe nails.
You see, like many people, I struggle with painting the dominant hand because my inferior hand is being told to do this delicate task and usually cracks under pressure. My brain tells the insignificant hand to not shake, and to go slow, but then the hand decides to shake frantically and do the exact opposite of slow! Which is HIGHLY annoying, because while my insignificant hand is blessed with a beautiful coat of paint, my superior hand is left looking like a 5 year old painted them. Leaving me with the expression of disgust.
So in the end I decided to paint my toe nails to ensure that all of them are given the equal treatment, and the best one at that. And by best I mean the privilege of being painted by the superior hand. BUT even as I was painting with my better hand, I STILL messed up! Ughhhh, like seriously why can't I do one simple task?!?! While I had complete control of my hand, the freaking brush on the nail polish would go all over the place and make the paint go into uncharted and unwanted territory! Regardless I was able to fix my errors with my finger, which just made the paint go under the nail and make my thumb nail look wonky. The end result actually ended up looking very good, and I thought, "wow, that was a spectacular waste of time". But what else am I to do at 8pm on a Wednesday night??
