Hey There! I'm YiLan 👋

Aside from being born in China, being adopted, and living with a Cleft Lip and Palate, I also enjoy going for walks, listening to podcasts (from Emma Chamberlain's relatable content to business self-improvement ones like Diary of a CEO), website creating, and learning new things. I like nerding out on finance-related topics, marketing strategies, and other business topics that most people would probably find boring.

When I'm not deep diving into spreadsheets or business content, I love watching TV... like an insane amount of TV. We're talking rewatching comfort shows like New Girl, Modern Family, and Friends, plus all those cheesy "brain rotting" rom-com films like The Proposal, 13 Going on 30, and Friends With Benefits. No shame in my comfort show game!

I also enjoy volunteering and currently help out at a pet rescue as a cat caretaker at PetSmart. Honestly? I started volunteering there because I enjoy cat cafes and wanted to hang out with cats... yes, I realize that probably makes me sound like a crazy cat lady, but I currently have 0 cats. For now.... lol.

I recently graduated from college and am working as a program finance analyst in the DC area, where I spend wayyyyy too much time in spreadsheets. You would be terrified at my current screen time - seriously, it's concerning.
